Business Process is a set of activities or structured work that is interconnected to solve a particular problem that produces output or service to achieve goals and support the achievement of goals and strategic goals of an organization. The business process at Statistical Laboratory & Quality Engineering consists of 3 components namely input, process and output.

1. Input

Inputs on the business processes of the Laboratory of Statistics & Quality Engineering consist of:

a. Human Resources include : lecturers, students, assistants and related outsiders

b. Facilities and infrastructure

– Hardware: computers and tools of practicum

– Software : Minitab, SPSS, Ms,. Excel

– Other facilities

The Standard Operating Procedures that support the business process input section in the Laboratory of Statistics & Quality Engineering are:

1) SOP Strategic Planning Laboratory

2) SOP Document Control

3) SOP Management of Facilities and Infrastructure

4) SOP Recruitment of New Assistant

5) SOP Assistant Coordinator Election

6) SOP Funding Proposal and Procurement of Tools

2. Process

The processes undertaken in the Laboratory of Statistics & Quality Engineering as an activity that will be able to produce a certain output in accordance with the objectives to be achieved. The process in the Laboratory of Statistics & Quality Engineering is divided into 4, namely:

a. Education

The processes undertaken for Education in the Laboratory of Statistics & Quality Engineering are:

– Practicum, which consists of Industrial Statistics Practicum and 2 nd Integrated Practium

SOP 2nd Integrated Practicum

– Training, which consist of External Training and Internal Training

SOP External Training

SOP Internal Training

 

Where the two processes are closely related to the purpose of Laboratory Statistics & Quality Engineering is to develop science and technology, as well as contributing in the scientific statistics to improve the quality of all laboratory stakeholders.

b. Research

The processes undertaken in the Statistical Laboratory Research & Quality Engineering are:

– Research

– Reference Book

– Journal

– Conference Proceeding

– Poster
