**Industrial Statistics Practicum Module in Statistic & Quality Engineering Period 2007-2018**

In practice the period 2018/2019, the module is used together with the previous year by 3 modules, among others, as follows.

**1. Module I**

Module I Practicum Industry Statistics discusses about Descriptive Statistics. On this module discusses about kinds of data. Besides that, on this practicum use the data to provide descriptions of through numerical calculations or graphs or tables. The analysis of this practicum is to compare between bar chart and histogram. The processing data is made with Minitab software and we analyze the difference between histogram and bar chart.

**2. Module II**

Module II Industrial Statistics Practicum discuss the Theory and Probability Distribution. The theoretical practice and probability distribution are discussed in terms of the probability distribution theory and the understanding of the various probability distributions accompanied by examples. In addition, it was explained also about data processing using Minitab 18. In this practicum data collection was carried out for discrete and continuous probability distribution of data retrieval supported by various practicum objects including uno cards and wall plug. Retrieval of normal and binomial distribution data is done using the plug while the exponential and poisson distributions are done using uno cards. Then the data is processed using Minitab 18 software with output analysis on whether the data taken is in accordance with the distribution characteristics determined and the calculation of the probability of each primary data taken.

**3. Module III**

Module III Industral Statistic Practicum discuss about Inferential Statistics. Inferential Statistics in this module discusses Hypothesis Testing and ANOVA. Hypothesis Testing used in the process of decision making in the face of uncertainty and change. While the analysis of variance is a statistical technique that allows to determine whether two or more mean population will be worth the same as using data from samples of each population. In Hypothesis Testing practicum, measurements of body weight, height, and pulse are practiced. With these data can be processed using the calculation of Hypothesis Test using parametric statistical tests namely One Sample T-Test, Independent Sample T-Test, and Paired Sample T-Test. In the ANOVA practicum, experiments were carried out by performing primary data retrieval through muffin-making experiments which were identified by two factors affecting the height of the muffins. The data obtained are further processed using Minitab software to find out whether or not there is influence.
