Procedures of  Practicum Chapters 1 and 2

  1. Assistants announce the practicum schedule through wall magazines and laboratory website with regulations, it is required to bring control card.
  2. Assistants who are responsible for the chapters, make SOP for practicum and presentation materials then consult it to the Head of Laboratory
  3. Assistants conduct brainstorm and simulation practicum chapters 1 & 2, led by those who are responsible for chapters 1.
  4. Conducting practicum, led by two assistants, tutor 1 and tutor 2.
  5. Assistant explains the material on the identification of opportunities and market segmentation based on the standard operating procedures and presentation materials chapters 1 & 2.
  6. At the end of the practicum, the assistant/tentor explains the sub-chapter for the report and what should be done in the execution report including the annoucement of the each group’s products which had been discussed by all lectures and assistants.
  7. Students are asked to create an open questionnaire to identify opportunities based on the each group’s products.
  8. Students shuld consult the questionnaire which have been made to the assistant of the Statistic and Quality Engineering Laboratory and the lecturer.
  9. Students should distribute the questionnaires to the respondents who are fit to the needs of each group’s products.
  10. Students recap the results of the questionnaires and change customer statements into a statement of the customer’s needs and determine the segmentation target
  11. Students consult the results of questionnaires to the assistant and their lecturer.
  12. Output of chapters 1 are the product to be made, the statement of customer needs, and market segmentation that will be selected by each group.
  13. After / outside the practicum, students is asked to create and distribute a closed questionnaire to identify the interests of each need and assessment for the same competitor product
  14. Students  shall consult the closed questionnaire that has been made to the assistant of the Laboratory of Statistics and Quality Engineering and supervisors respectively.
  15. Students spread the questionnaire closed to the respondents in accordance with product segmentation of each group.
  16. Students  recap the results of closed questionnaires and perform validity and reliability testing.
  17. The output of this chapter is the level of importance / expectation of each customer’s needs and the respondent’s assessment of the competitor’s product.
