Module 3 : Hypothesis Testing & Anova

Objectives of Practicum The objectives of this practicum are:
  1. Being able to know the type of hypothesis testing and statistical parametric.
  2. Being able to doing test assumptions and step to hypothesis testing and to know the difference parameter values through parametric statistical hypothesis testing.
  3. Able to analyze using analysis of variance concept for problems that using software or manually.
 Benefit of Practicum Benefit of this practicum are:
  1. Practicioner know the type of hypothesis testing and statistical parametric
  2. Practicioner can doing test assumptions and step to hypothesis testing and know the difference parameter values through parametric statistical hypothesis testing.
  3. Practicioner can analyze using analysis of variance concept for problems that using software or manually.
Flowchart of 3rd Module Practicum This are flowchart of 3rd Module practicum. Picture3 Practicum Procedure Here are the procedure of hypothesis testing and anova. Practicum Procedure of One Sample T-Test Here are the procedure of one sample t-test:
  1. Collecting case study about rate of population growth (one sample t-test).
  2. Doing normality and homogeneity test using SPSS.
  3. Doing processing data of case study with SPSS.
  4. Analysis and interpretation.
  5. Make conclusion and suggestions.
  6. Repeat step 3-5 up to 4 times ( 1 replication)
  7. Repeat until 10 replications.
  8. Analysis and interpretation.
  9. Make conclusion and suggestions.
Practicum Procedure of  Independent Sample T-Test Here are the procedure of independent sample t-test:
  1. Collecting case study of unemployment rate (independent sample t-test).
  2. Doing normality and homogeneity test using SPSS.
  3. Doing processing data of case study with SPSS.
  4. Analysis and interpretation.
  5. Make conclusion and suggestions.
Practicum Procedure of Paired Sample T-Test Here are the procedure of  paired sample t-test:
  1. Collecting case study of nurses knowledge (paired sample t-test).
  2. Doing normality and homogeneity test using SPSS.
  3. Doing processing data of case study with SPSS.
  4. Analysis and interpretation.
  5. Make conclusion and suggestions.
Practicum Procedure of ANOVA Here is practicum procedure of anova:
  1. Collecting primary data through an experiment making muffin cake with oven.
  2. Prepare tools and materials.
  3. Determine factors that used and their combination.
  4. Type of flour (protein low, medium and high).
  5. Backing Powder (SP and BP).
  6. Measure high of bread using caliper.
  7. Primary data processing using SPSS
  8. Analysis and interpretation data.
  9. Conclusion and suggestion.
