Industrial Statistics Practicum Module in Statistic & Quality Engineering Period 2007-2017
In practice the period 2014/2015, the module is used together with the previous year by 5 modules, among others, as follows.
1. Module I
Module I Practicum discusses Industry Statistics Descriptive Statistics. Descriptive Statistics in Practice praktikan required untujk looking case study data to limit the amount of data is at least 30 data. From the case study data will be processing and presentation to provide information that is easily understood by everyone. Data processing includes the calculation of the location of the case study (mean, median, mode, quartiles, and others), variability, and the size of the shape. Data processing is performed by calculating a single data and grouped data, but it is also processed with software Minitab16. Of the data processing is obtained and carried out an informative presentation of data.
2. Module II
Module II Practicum Industry Statistics discusses Probability Theory. In this lab conducted experiments on opportunities, permutations and combinations. Practicum opportunities conducted by means of a wheel by seeking opportunities each number and color to be processed into slices, alloys, as well as conditional events. It also conducted lab work on permutation and combination with lego tools to cultivate the number of ways that can be done with the preparation of a thorough permutations, in part, and in groups, as well as combinations of the majority.
3. Module III
Module III Practical Industrial Statistics discusses the theory of Probability Distributions. Practical theory of probability distributions supported with a variety of special facilities and infrastructure that could make praktikan easily understand the characteristics of each distribution. Examples of discrete probability distribution using a bingo, scrabble, bridge card, uno cards, marbles, lego, balls, and puzzles. Of each of the experiments carried out in accordance with the facilities required characteristics theory of probability distributions. Data processing is done manually and using software Minitab16
4. Module IV
Module IV Practical Statistics Industry discusses Parametric Statistics and ANOVA. Parametric statistics used in the process of decision making in the face of uncertainty and change. While the analysis of variance is a statistical technique that allows to determine whether two or more meanpopulasi will be worth the same as using data from samples of each population. In this lab used tools statapult and Design of Experiment (DOE) Golfer by utilizing some of the factors that affect the working system both devices like throwing angle, beating and throwing arm length, and its influence Jark hit or thrown ball. With these data can be processed by using a calculationStatistik parametric yaitu One Sample T-Test, Independent Sample T-Test, dan Paired Sample T-Test. Selain itu juga dilakukan eksperimen ANOVA berdasarkan satu factor atau dua factor yang mempengaruhi hasil kinerja alat tersebut. Pengolahan data dilakukan secara manual dan menggunakan software Minitab16 untuk dianalisis dan mencari kesimpulannya.
5. Module V
Module V Practicum Industry Statistics discusses the regression and correlation. Practicum aims to determine the correlation between the independent variables (independent) and the dependent variable (dependent) as well as to understand the application of the use of regression analysis, both simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. In this praktikuan data processing on the data used for the case study of a simple linear regression and multiple regression. Thus will be processed using software Minitab16 so that the output can be analyzed and give an accurate conclusion to the data.
